SF Engineering Team Wins Golf Tournament in Support of The Boparan Charitable Trust
SF Engineering employees swapped CAD software and welding equipment for golf clubs and spiked shoes last week for the 7th Annual Golf Classic in support of The Boparan Charitable Trust. The SF Engineering team won!
The event took place at the Belfry Hotel & Golf Resort in Sutton Coldfield last Thursday. Over £7,000 was raised to help children with disabilities, life-limiting illnesses, or who are living in extreme poverty.
As for the golf, the weather held out on the stunning course at The Belfry, and the competition was intense. The SF Engineering team took the trophy by one point over the second placed AREIL team.
SF Engineering General Manager Richard Smith said: “A big thank you to The Boparan Charitable Trust for organising the 7th Annual Golf Classic and putting on such an enjoyable event. We are proud at SF Engineering to support the essential work that you do.
“And congratulations to the SF Engineering team who won on the day – Paul Marston, Leon Collins, Martyn Rose, and Paul Gilham.”
