Video: Pre-Delivery Inspection of a Fresh Food Weigher Solution
We recently completed a pre-delivery inspection of a fresh food weigher solution for a customer in mainland Europe. We worked closely with our equipment partner Ishida on the project. Ishida custom-specified the weigher to suit the fragile, sticky fresh food product the customer processes on its production line.
The SF Engineering team used a simulated production environment to complete the pre-delivery inspection.

The solution includes a feed elevator that takes the product to the fresh food weigher. Operators place the product into the eight weigh beds and the weigher then automatically creates the required batch weights, dropping the product onto a flighted conveyor.
Operators then pick and pack the product into trays. The trays pass through a checkweigher, tray sealer, and other downstream processes.
